These crimes are occurring in multiple Westchester residential neighborhoods and are facilitated by residents who leave valuables inside vehicles and fail to secure their vehicles, police said.

State Police are advising advise residents to always lock their vehicles and never store valuable property in them.

Anyone with information regarding the recent vehicle break-ins is asked to contact State Police in Somers by calling (914) 769-2600.
